A Toronto team outing for 10 people: where to start
Three different ways to spend time together, with group rules and planning details that matter for a team of ten.
Start with the time you can actually spare
A two-hour activity takes more than two hours out of the working day once everyone travels there. Agree on a finish time and a meeting point before choosing a venue.
These three options have published booking information relevant to ten people. The selection is based on provider information, not personal visits. Choose by the kind of afternoon your colleagues want.
For a social outing: Snakes & Lattes Annex
Ten fits the café’s direct group-reservation range of 9 to 19 guests. A reservation gives you a three-hour table slot. It does not mean a private room.
Our suggestion: choose short games and change groups once, so people are not sitting with the same colleagues all evening. Avoid building a plan around a Friday-to-Sunday reservation after 4 pm; the café says those times are walk-in only.
For a guided creative session: Gardiner Museum
Ten people fits the hand-building package’s included headcount. The museum asks for requests at least three weeks ahead, so this is a better candidate when you have time to plan.
Finished pieces are collected later, usually two to three weeks after the class. Choose someone to handle pickup rather than promising everyone a finished piece to take home that afternoon.
For time outdoors: a Humber River canoe tour
Ten fits in one of Toronto Adventures’ Voyageur canoes. The provider advertises this tour for June through October 2026 and asks participants to arrive 15 minutes early.
Ask colleagues privately whether paddling works for them before booking. Confirm the launch access and weather policy with the provider, and keep an indoor alternative in mind.
Send two choices, not a catalogue
Share one relaxed option and one more structured option. Include the expected spend, location and finish time for each. Ask which people would join, then confirm the booking with the provider.
