What does a team outing in Toronto cost?

Real planning examples for 10 and 20 people, with the differences between admission, private groups and package pricing explained.

Compare the booking, not just the headline price

A per-person ticket and a private group package buy different things. Before comparing totals, decide whether you need a shared activity in a public venue or a session reserved for your team.

These are CAD planning examples from published provider prices. They are starting points for a budget, not booking quotes. Meals, transport and optional extras need their own allowance.

Board games: a lower-cost starting point

Snakes & Lattes Annex lists $20 admission and an 18% automatic gratuity for groups of six or more. For ten people, admission plus that gratuity comes to $236. Food is separate; selected non-alcoholic drinks are included.

Twenty people moves into its private-event inquiry process. Do not simply double the ten-person figure and treat it as a confirmed group package.

A canoe outing: the number of boats matters

Toronto Adventures lists a weekday Voyageur tour at $349 for one canoe carrying up to 11 paddlers, or $599 for two carrying up to 22. That makes the published base $349 for ten people and $599 for twenty. Weekend and holiday packages are $399 and $699 respectively.

This is a 90-minute outdoor activity. Budget time for arrival and check the weather arrangements before committing to the date.

A clay workshop: a fixed starting cost

The Gardiner Museum lists private hand-building at $800 for up to ten people, then $65 per additional participant. Ten people costs $800; the formula gives $1,450 for twenty, subject to the museum confirming that group size.

The two-hour class includes materials, firing one piece each and museum admission. Compare this with other guided private workshops rather than admission-only outings.
